I have a 2 1/2yr old hvac unit that vame with the house we purchased. Carrier says the warranty from original owner does not apply to the unit. So I have to purchase a new part for $900. So if you purchase a unit please get the exended warranty. We are using a space heater now to keep warm. And we just purchased the house 3 months ago.
