I came here having not ever stepped foot in a truck. My instructor Mike was instrumental in my training and was no doubt the reason I am where I am at today. I actually see a future for myself in this industry. Also the recruiter Nick had always been there to help me with anything I've needed to help me in obtaining employment. I would recommend this school to anybody wanting to be a truck driver.
I enrolled with Driver Resource Center knowing nothing about driving trucks or what it takes to be a trucker. By my last week of classes I was feeling eager and ready to take my skills test. The staff and instructors at the school are excellent at their jobs and are professionals in their field. They will not only provide you with everything one could need to pass a skills test, but to be a safe and employable driver in the industry as well. The two instructors at this location in paducah definitely held us to a much higher standard than just being able to pass and get a cdl by the time the state test came around it was second nature to pass with flying colors. In saying that Mr. Russ and Mr. Mike went out of their way to teach us what to expect in the real and definitely made it clear you get out what you are willing to put in. This “class” is an absolute joke. You don’t get taught on how to pass your permit test that is all self learning it’s bullshit for the price you pay. The recruiters are scammers they’ll sell you into thinking it’s nice when it’s not at all. If you want your cdl stay at home download an app and study it and go take your permit test at the dmv this “university” is not worth it at all. You sit in class for a week listening to a girl from St. Louis while corporate is bugging you about other shit the whole time the “teacher” love... read more
