Company and site location swindled me out of money for a U-Haul rental. Nobody was at location upon return at 1:15pm on a Saturday. Later, I find out that I was up-charged for mileage and gas not used. Essentially, my word against theirs. Clearly they can’t be trusted and don’t care about honesty. Total scam. I contacted U-Haul corporate, shock shock that they can only verify information provided to them by the site. I was unlucky enough to rear end someone, but lucky enough for it to happened right in front of Erie Collision Center. As I was still in shock, dealing with a not so happy car owner in front of me then trying to figure out what to do, Mike the manager appeared, introduced himself and spent the next 3 hours helping me through the process of calling insurance companies, getting a rental car, pulling my car into his lot until the insurance company came for it, keeping me warm while waiting-- all with no expectation of any payme... read more
