Corpus Christi Birthing Center provided truly exceptional care from start to finish. Every prenatal visit was informative, personal, and enjoyable. I love that I didn’t have to wait two hours for a 5 minute visit. It was more like wait 5 minutes for an hour of solid information and care, which was so helpful for a first time momma and gave me so much peace. My experience working with Kris, Tal, Kee and their entire team was phenomenal and I would do it all over again! This was my second baby, and my first was with another excellent midwife team in Dallas area, but moving to Corpus I was new to the area but was excited to work with Kris and the team since my sister has had 4 + babies with them and all had a great experience. I am so grateful to have found the birth center and have had the courage to fire my OB at 20 weeks pregnant. I knew I wanted to avoid unnecessary interventions and I didn’t want to birth somewhere where I’d have to be prepared to battle. I am beyond blessed that I got to do my prenatal care with them. I switched from an OB to then at 26 weeks pregnant and the world of difference it made. I did have a LONG labor, lasting 3 days, and did unfortunately end up in the hospital, but due to an old injury in my spine. Nothing they could have done. But I got to labor in the most amazing set up, and honestly am so lucky I went to them. They even had a chiropractor come in at 11pm at night to adjust me and help through the pain from my back.
