This birth center is absolutely amazing – let me tell you why: When I first became pregnant (I was about 12 weeks along) I was picking up heavy things and experienced bleeding which led me to think I’d lost my baby (I’d been told to take it easy but hadn’t yet embraced the new reality of being pregnant). I reached out to my OB in my state of distress and was told “You can come in and we can take a look but in order for us to do that, you have to commit to being seen by us for the remainder of your pregnancy”. These are the people you want on your team throughout your entire pregnancy. They are honest, helpful, insightful. They teach and inform, they don’t assume anything. You can honestly tell how passionate they are about what they do. Every single one of these ladies is beautifully attentive and they HEAR you. Having an unmedicated birth outside of a hospital with a midwife was not only something I wanted, but something I feel God called me to.
