They will lie to charge you extra - how do I know this? They claimed to remove a lamp after we moved out while the lamp itself is sitting next to me at the moment. The walls are paper thin. People are very rude and will enter your bathroom while you are in there - I was lucky that I was just brushing my teeth when someone opened the door (and the lock was broken btw). My roommate let them in the living room and apparently they took that as a permission to enter a bathroom with lights on without knocking.
DO NOT RENT FROM CBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would - the one star is for the maintenance staff ONLY, who were great. Worst place I’ve ever lived. The walls are paper thin—you can hear everything from your neighbors, like you're sharing a unit. The leasing office is rude at best and completely unsupportive. Once you sign the lease, they treat you with zero professionalism and borderline hostility. Do yourself a favor and live literally anywhere else. 100 Avon Apartments.
Looking through some of these reviews (I'm nosey), it's clear that the majority were people that didn't get their way (and probably didn't read through their lease before signing). CBS owns several buildings and rents to at least 1,000 kids/year, I assume. Out of 40-something reviews spanning about a decade, only half being negative... do the math. My personal experience?
