Be careful borrowers might be excited about the proposition of DPA funds, that said they need to focus on the fact that Chenoa Fund has it written into their terms that they will not subordinate for the first 3 years no matter what. With rates going down this puts the original buyers in a precarious spot that forces them to either repay the second or not do the refinance. I went through a ton of crap to set up my payment method only to have Chenoa pawn my loan off to another company, yet again. These people act like our time is absolute trash. They know there is not much we can do about it because we still have to pay our mortgage, but treating people and their time with pure contempt is the mark of scum bags.
Great program! Employees were exceptionally professional and helpful
The lender that “tried” to work with me was the worst. He flat out dismissed me. Very humiliating and disappointing.
