This place is totally fine and my therapist has been very easy to talk to and has a lot of experience. They seem to understand the purpose of therapy very well.
Glad I’m not the only one who had a traumatic experience here. My therapist (don’t read if eating) liked to sneeze into a tissue and then continue to lick it as she complained about being 15 minutes late because of traffic.. My biggest fear and perhaps biggest reason for being in therapy is social anxiety and driving so listening to this woman gasping for life (I’m being literal btw) telling me to calm down in traffic WAS nauseating. I have BPD and was looking for dialectical behavioral therapy BPD is something that is 100% treatable with proper therapy one day my husband came in with me to learn how to be supportive the woman that we were seeing asked him if he had any concerns there was an incident where I freaked out on him because he politely asked me to let him know if I was busy on my phone I know it doesn't make sense but it triggered me instead of addressing the issue and helping him learn how to be more supportive in my episodes she basically pi... read more
Don't come here. Don't send your kids here. Just don't. One therapist was doing tarot card readings during sessions and then telling my teen about her boyfriend (IN WHAT WOULD IS THAT APPROPRIATE?!?!) and the other therapist for my youngest went on vacation and never scheduled her again. Just stopped responding and scheduling. I left voicemails, of course never heard back from the receptionist, who was abrasive at best. The most contradicting and unprofessional company I've ever dealt with in the professional realm. They assessed my child. They told me he was a well adjusted, mentally healthy young boy (which he is)and then wrote a very vague report that did not reflect what the counselor said to me the day of. When I contacted them for clarification not only did they completely ignore my calls and emails when they finally did they were extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional.
