Since 1972, first as Alpha House and now as Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS), we have treated the chemical dependency recovery needs of Central New York with Outpatient, Supportive Living and Intensive Residential Treatment services. Our mission began in the early 1970's, at the Seal and Serpent Society at Cornell University. They have a caring staff and do wonderful and important work in our community.
I am a recently graduated alumni from the CARS outpatient program. I love the staff and management at CARS. They genuinely care about people and do so much to help. I do feel they would benefit from having at least one recovering addict on their staff or from bringing recovering people in to speak but other than that they are a great resource.
