I used Cay Electronics to reprogram the MMSI on my Garmin AIS and VHF (two seperate items). The engineer was good but both the price and timing the front desk staff advised were definitely wrong. It is very hard to provide a positive recommendation for a company when they get the basics like this so wrong. Cay Electronics responded immediately with repair to my Raymarine products and provided resources within hours so we could make a weather window. I found and find them to be very professional.
I am really disappointed with the service of this place. I brought my RV traveling from NJ to this place because it was supposedly the only dealer, on the area, of the wakespeed controller for a second alternator. Unfortunately, they weren't able to fix anything, but they charged me almost $900 with the promise of sending me an upgrade program for the controller, arguing that they're trying to contact Dragonfly, but they didn't answer.
