I am going to be as detailed as possible in MY experience to better help potential buyers looking at maybe buying a vehicle from this place.. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Cavender Fiat last week and what a pleasant experience it was! Our salesperson, Daryl Hurley,was great. My husband and I were very impressed with him and the rest of the Cavender Fiat gang. We were not looking forward to all the drama involved in car buying and were so please to find that that is not the case with them. From the initial phone call to driving the car off the lot, this was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. The sales person who assisted me - Frank Gonzalez - was professional and knowledgeable. He was always available to answer my questions. I went back to the dealership 3 times before making the purchase and I never felt pressured. The management team was friendly and also very professional. They had posted a used Scion FRS earlier in Oct. I saw the posting on the 30th and checked the carfax on the vehicle to find out it had been sold on the 16th. I contacted them and they insisted the FRS was still on lot and unsold. I received an e-mail from a John Cranford, which I now believe to be some sort of stock e-mail name/address. I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership again. We bought my son a car from here and every step of the way once we drove the car home has been met with resistance. They lost my check for the down payment and expected me to cover all costs at my bank for a stop payment when I refused to stop payment and wouldn't give them any other money down the check miraculously cleared my bank and I told them and they claimed to not know what happened.
