RecommendedAwesome little stop. I stayed in one of the cabins - rustic, indeed but decent shower and functional kitchen with a few basic items, plus a grill and that FANTASTIC back yard and front porch.
Comfortable, beautiful, quiet. My aunt’s family has been coming here since she was a young girl. I don’t fish, but I hear the fishing is good.

My family and I have been going here as long as I can remember, always friendly and we enjoy our stay every time.
This place is a gem! It's quirky, rustic, and quaint. It sits on the beautiful Sacrament River and there is a great little city park right below the hotel. Fun hiking trails close by and 45 minutes from Buney Falls. The owners are so nice and accommodating. Price is right!
Lived there about 7 years. Loved the soda water and fishing. Great sledding down the hill to the park on the river. Slogan was "Best water on Earth". Nice view of Mount Shasta from the train and river overlook. Do miss Ma's candy shop.
Just stayed for two days at the motel. Had a lovely time hiking trails and visiting lakes and creeks. Spectacular fall color. Great weather. Really good restaurants close by. Room 23 was very comfortable. Slept great in the dark, warm and quiet room. Terrific staff. We'll be back!
Super cute cabins, well equipped and in the perfect setting for a relaxing get away from the city. I appreciate the good water pressure and cleanliness of the cabins and grounds. I'm very pleased with the views of the mountains and the river below our cabins.
