Overall, our stay at The Cavalier was an underwhelming experience. When we arrived, our room smelled strongly of fresh paint, and the bathroom ceiling was dusty with panels coming down near the shower. The bigger issue was our experience at the beach. I booked a beach bed for the following day for $157 because they told me they were fully booked that day. The Cavalier is our favorite hotel. The service and hospitality is impeccable. It is so good to see Robert each time we return. He remembers us and is an amazing asset to the hotel.
Robert at the bourbon taste was every well spoken.
Stay was overall great - a few improvements need to be made. Beach club was great and restaurants on site were wonderful. Hair dryer needs an upgrade - a maybe $15 hair dryer is unacceptable for this hotel. The TV needs an upgrade - smart TVs that allow for streaming services would be nice as there were not many options.
