I tried Cava for the first time when they first opened this one in Ventura and loved it! Very similar to chipotle in the quality and service style but obviously different style of cuisine. Really loved the taste of the bowl and appreciated the service from the workers!

CAVA is one of my go-to lunch spots! The ingredients always taste super fresh, and I love that you can customize your bowl exactly how you want it. Everything is flavorful, the portions are great, and it's a healthier option that still fills you up. I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints! Definitely recommend if you're looking for something fresh and quick.
We ate at the Ventura, CA location last night, 6/18/2026. We love the food, but the employees seemed more interested in watching the World Cup than helping the growing line of angry customers. The front was running out of ingredients, while the back was screaming and shouting at the soccer game. There does not seem to be any management present, so the kids just work at a slow pace and seem like the customers are bothering them.
