If you’re planning a visit, it’s best to avoid Sunday evenings after 6 PM. By then, the food options are quite limited, and the staff doesn’t seem inclined to restock. Their response was simply, “Sorry, we’re all out.” Mind you they close at 11 PM. The food was good as expected but there are other locations that do a better job keeping their choices readily available.
DONT order on uber eats. Seems like they know they won’t be held accountable. I got little to no rice or arugula, the wrong protein, 1 dressing for TWO bowls after requesting 4 dressings, and 1 pita after asking for two. Bad experience.
Our takeout bowls we ordered on the app weren’t as good as usual. Several ordered ingredients missing from each bowl mine was missing all the dips and my husbands was missing the pita strips and the harissa vinaigrette and missing the side pita :( we are frequent cava diners at this location and are kinda bummed tonight.
I always love the food here it’s amazing especially for the price but Jamario really made my experience! He had a great attitude and was smiling and fun. Thanks!
I frequent Cava at other Tampa Bay locations, but this was the first time at Water Street location. I took the streetcar over on a rainy night after a long day of work to treat myself. Jamario lacked personality. Very DRY. Made it uncomfortable w/ his responses & reactions. I asked for extra olives & w/ such a stern face told me no more than 2 scoops per topping.
