We love the service of James. We like sitting in Bar related to easier access to the BEST salad bar in Lubbock. James takes superior care of us. He takes time serve and talk with us.
Food was excellent! Also our waitress Tanya was amazing! Definitely going back!

I just moved back to Lubbock after being away for 20 yrs and a lot of things have changed, some good and some bad, but the Cattle Baron is still serving quality food with a wonderful salad bar. The staff is friendly and prompt and the GM, Jesus, made sure everyone was take care of. Oh and they have the best Guinness on tap in Lubbock!
It’s my 1st time in this restaurant but really like d place it’s cozy and I love d salad bar and d food so yummy 😋!!!!

We usually love the salad bar. We came in to eat only that, and were VERY disappointed. I understand it was a Saturday night, 2 hours before you close. But to pay $10 for a salad bar, and over half of the containers to be empty and never refilled even after mentioning it. Soups were empty, the salad bar was an absolute mess. On top of that the server next to our area was complaining she “only” got a $10 tip.
