C.A.T.S Is an excellent home inspector training school. I attended the Fishkill ny class instructed by Peter Damiano. Pete gives clear class instruction and is there to help with any questions you have during mock inspections. Mock inspections and inspection report reviewing are one of the best aspects of training. I just went through this excellent program with Pete Damiano as my instructor. I started in Jan 2023 and finished April 2023. When you want to become a home inspector, there is a list of "approved schools" out on the New York .gov website. and there are many choices. I did research and chose C.A.T.S because of their reputation. I admit, choosing a school can be stressful but if you choose C.A.T.S you have made the right choice. Pete is the best! What an instructor. The knowledge he brings to every class is more than you could ever ask for. It's not all lecture, sharing stories and experiences he has had throughout his career not only keep things in perspective, but are very entertaining. Man or woman, it doesn't matter, this is a very welcoming environment and my classmates were great. Working long hours can be tough on learning a new skill, but this class fit right in.
