In 1985, Cathy opened her first restaurant, Cathy's Wok in Plano where food quality was high but prices were not. Having taught Chinese cooking for more than twelve years, she served fresh, healthy and delicious dishes. Great take-out Although it lacks in ambiance, Cathy's Wok is a great place for take-out. Reasonably priced, portions are large and preparation is fast whether you call in or order there.
Asian Food Cathy's Wok has changed it's name but it is still in the same location. The food comes out to your table fast and they have a good variety of items. We like to go there for a change of pace.
I don't recommend this place We walked in and no lights were on, even though the sun was setting. Also, there was no air-conditioning, which made it pretty unpleasant in the dining room. They were out of several soda flavors, and the food had no flavor. The egg rolls were okay.
healthy Chinese cooking They used to be on 15th Street and Coit, and we used to go there a lot. Then they moved to Legacy and also opened up another location on Frankford and the tollway. Their menu lists the number of calories and fat grams and serving sizes, etc. so if you're health conscious, you can choose whichever dish(es) that suits your taste and calorie intake. They had pretty good food, and they still do, I just don't go there often anymore.
I highly recommend the sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. I use Cathy's Wok as the benchmark that I measure all other Chinese restaurants by. Oh, and don't forget the pot stickers!

we got delivery from this place and the food was cold, on the menu they didn't have very well written discriptions, they gave you fake crab, and I would NEVER EVER reccomend this place to anyone!!!!! PS the prices were way to high for food this quality!
