The dissatisfaction that I have with St Francis Hospital is honestly the worst experience ever. If you care about your family member that is the last place you should take them. From the Nurses to the Doctors. No one there is compassionate, kind or attentive. I seriously wish I can talk to administration because this type of treatment is just disgusting. I was a pt. in the ER here a few times over the past few years & have been very sick with complex issues. I am also a former nurse before I became sick - disabled and HOMELESS so I don't like to rip any hospital apart but I recently had a family member die here from Covid and it brought back a flush of horrible memories for me. RecommendedHands down the best hospital on Long Island .....everyone I have ever met who worked there simply amazing ..... they truly care about their patients.
I want to expose a racist NURSE named Denise Virga, who works at St. Charles Hospital. She made a post inciting violence towards BLM protesters & telling people to run them over with their vehicles. Can you imagine a medical professional taking care of patients with that kind of mentality? I wonder if there are more employees, with similar views at St. Charles Hospital. I've attached screenshots below.

RecommendedI had minor surgery yesterday at St. Catherine’s and was so nervous about having to go in to the hospital at this time but that all went away from the very beginning of my experience! Starting with Kathy in the admitting area and pre-surgical testing and then Maryann and Eileen who were the nurses with me before and after my surgery, all were absolutely wonderful!! We laughed and cried together and although no one in my family was allowed in, I never felt alone! I cannot thank these women enough for all that they did for me ... read more
