I went to see Dr. Mauro at Costco last November for my first contact exam and fitting. I expressed to her that the contacts she prescribed poked my left eye pretty badly, and she said it shouldn’t feel that way but still dismissed it and said to come back another time if it continued to hurt but I should get used to it. The contact in that eye was always blurry and painful. I returned a few weeks later expressing I had given it a shot but it still hurt. She then prescribed another type, which worked better.
