Dr. Kananen Roman's office is not well educated at using available technology to manage access to appointment scheduling and physician appointments. I cannot recommend using a doctor whose staff is so far behind the times. If your office contact people are this rude, and your patient reviews on UPMC are so sporadic...... Whew.

I have no doubt this MD is intelligent, but I was not made to feel that I could have good communication with her. During my first visit it was a question and answer session and I did not feel comfortable expressing my concerns. She kept saying "People your age". I am a nurse and have learned that age has little to do at times with people's abilities.
