Dr Bartnik performed my EGD a couple of days ago and she was amazing! She was so kind and compassionate, with an incredible bedside manner. She made direct eye contact and made me feel like I was the only person in the room. She thoroughly explained the procedure to me , along with the possible adverse events, which she assured me were minimal and that she would do everything in her power to prevent them. I went in for a colonoscopy by Bartnik, in which we had never met prior to this. She approached me while I was sedated with Benadryl and didn’t introduce herself. Instead, asked me what am I expected out of this procedure? Who am I seeing for my situation? Why aren’t I on medication? Do I work? Where do I work? Pulled her face close to mine and me , do you understand that people lose their colon from this disease? As I tried to answer the questions she rudely disregarded my responses.
