My daughter and I we're the only people there after the other table left so it was pretty quiet and ok environment. Our waitress (I think her name was Sam) was very friendly and checked on us many times and i appreciated that she never made me feel rushed or as a bother even tho as soon as we were done she got to go home. I appreciate that quality tremendously because customers are why ppl have jobs so to ever treat them rudely is not ok. Food was good. Smaller portions than i would expect but ok. Don't really want to give a negative, but wow you're really over priced.
They said it would be ready in twenty minutes. So here i sit fourty minutes later still waiting.
I have been coming to the Cathay Inn for more than 20 years. Loved Marilee, Janice and Bito back in the day. I now come in for the consistent excellent service provided by Stephanie in the lounge, and while dining with my family by Newt in the dining area. That both excel in their positions and are a great asset to the business. I always feel welcome and well taken care of. As far as the food I recommend the mu shoo pork. It is by far the best in town.
