Cater funeral home has always made the most difficult situtiations much easier. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They have served my family for many years and I have nothing but nice things to say about them!

When I am dead I'm dead what the hell do I care as funerals are really for the vain or living but certain things are practical especially when you are sick (dying) and you don't want people who couldn't be bothered to give a dam when you was alive making decisions about whether or not you believed in what God and saying stuff about your life and etc that would be in only to serve as a way for them to get attention or sympathy

I have never been to a funeral at Cater Funeral Home, but I do know Bill Stuart and Sandy Stuart..... They were residents of Steelville, Missouri from 1973-1983, and owned and operated what was prevousley the Halbert-Stuart Funeral Home., and they are loving and compassionate people, and I am sure their services their are the same as they was here.I feel honored and blessed to know such fine people, and great friends...
