We were in town due to a cruise stop. As we were walking through town we met up with an older man who told us delightful stories. One was that he dressed as Santa Claus for many years. Anyway, we told him we were looking for a coffee shop and he pointed across the street to Catapult saying it was the best shop in town. It did not disappoint. Walking around in old town Saint John , we were pushed into this little calm cafe by a sudden rain. But it was really lovely. The music is light but clear, soothing and calming, we could take out time on our comfy window seat to enjoy people watching. Staff were friendly. We tried their coffee and chai latte which was delicious. They also serve cold brew .
