Do not go here if you are high risk for COVID. They are not following any CDC protocols. No masks, tables are covered with things that are not being wiped down, no social distancing. I think the tables are a germ fest even without a pandemic. They wiped the top of the table - at least where it was showing, but not the sides or any items. The salt shaker had dried food all over it.
RecommendedWe just had the pleasure of eating breakfast at The Pelican Cafe on a recommendation from Rapid Tire (as we were getting our vehicle worked on). We had a nice walk down and when we opened the door, it felt like we walked into a family members home. Denise greeted us and invited us right in. The place was FULL! We found a table to sit at and was promptly brought menus and more smiles. The food came out in no time and was excellent! Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience! 12 out of 10 would recommend!!
waitress was great, she made sure the chef knew I had gluten allergies and the chef cleaned the grill before making my meal. Bill did an excellent job off isolating the booths so no worries about covid!
by far the best food in town. Chad and Jamie or the best owner operators. they take of the whole community with great food, birthday celebrations, and even a joke or two.
Food is always good and always warm! The staff are super friendly! Good place for a quick nice dinner that won’t break the bank(:

Thanks to everyone that was working on Easter Sunday. Your turkey dinner was absolutely delicious. In times of quarantine, you are amazing for me, to have a good HOT HOME COOKED meal available to the public and especially a 60 year old widowed male that can hardly boil water. And the curbside pickup, and everyone is so cheerful and thankful to all their customers. Again, thank you for such a wonderful service that you are providing our community.
Easter Dinner was amazing thank you so much for this great meal we had 2 of the turkey dinner’s and a ham dinner with carrot cake! Again thank you again staff at Pelican!
