RecommendedI tried getting ahold of other tree services . Nobody ever showed !! First call to Castro's got a response .He was here the same day for an estimate. The second day he said i"ll be there at 7:30am He arrived exactly 7:30am. His workers were very experienced and polite ..never stood around. I'm so happy the job they did. I have used Heladio and his crew for several jobs around my house - large and small. They are always wonderful to work with and do good quality workmanship.
These guys did a great job when I needed a stump removed. They were prompt, efficient, and quoted me a lower price than any of the other companies I called. There was a bit of an issue squeezing the stump grinder through a narrow space and they handled it really well. Instead of just saying, "we can't do it, sorry!" they worked with us to maneuver the machine through the tight spot and then finished the work. Thanks for job well done!
Castro Tree service was working in my neighbor taking down and trimming trees of my 2 neighbors. I went to inquire about removing a tree that was in between my 2 sheds. They gave me a great price, did an outstanding job in removing the tree and the cleanup was exceptional. I will use them in the future if I need any more trimming or tree removal done.
They do such a good job. Trimmed a tree beautifully and quickly.

I had a 24 year old silver maple 60 ft high near my and my neighbor's house taken down yesterday. They arrived early. Worked without breaks, and took that large down quickly and without any damage to surrounding property. They worked fast, cleaned up after themselves, and handled last minute changes effortlessly. At the very end, they even cleaned up our street . We were totally pleased with our entire experience.
Castro Tree Service cut down two 30 year old river birch trees from our front yard yesterday. Price, timeliness, and quality of work can't be beat. We highly recommend them to anyone in the Elgin area that needs tree work done. They quote quickly and in our case, the trees were gone with 72 hours!
We just used Castro's Tree Service yesterday and could not be more pleased. We got their name from a neighbor and friend who had recommended them. We called Heladio on Saturday about a quote and he came over in about an hour. We agreed to go ahead with the job on Sunday and he called us on Monday afternoon to see if they could come out the next day because there was no rain in the forecast.
