I must say, this was THE worst experience of my 37yrs of life. I took my car to Castro Auto for a transmission repair. Yhe agreement was to fix the transmission and check to see other issues that could be repaired. He gave me a price for the transmission. I had the $1,700 +. I scheduled an appointment for 7-15-25, i paid for the part of $850 on 7-2-25. Dropped my car off 7-14-25 . I had an amazing experience at Castro Auto Repair! Luis worked on my 2005 Honda Element, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. My car is running better than it has in years, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find an honest and skilled mechanic these days, but Luis and the team at Castro Auto Repair truly delivered. Highly recommend!

I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone! I don't know why, because the work being done isn't free! The main objective was to attract customers. They worked with quality and speed, depending on the problem with the car. An appointment for an exclusive day arrived at 10 am. The receptionist was very friendly. I agreed to check the car! She would call me in the afternoon! (I never received any calls). I called as if grieving... she told me they would check it the next day!
