Boo – This place is horrible (in a bad way). WTF is up with All these great reviews? And Travel Channel Best in America??? I've lost all respect for Travel Channel if that is true.

So-So – It was OK. Not really scary like their website makes it sound. It's about on par with Nightmare on 13th. The spinning tunnel was cool. I paid extra for the Bl00d treatment, but that turned out to be a rip off.

Waste of time and money – I don't know where all the good reviews came from (the owners perhaps?). This place stinks. It's too short, and about as scary as frightmares.

WELL WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY!!! – I read all of the past reviews and decided I had to decide for myself, so Saturday night we went to see the castle of chaos in salt lake city. it is over by the old rocky point show. We stood in line for 2 hours and once inside the murder mystery took 30 minutes and the haunted house took about 40 minutes. we could not stop laughing, screaming and crying the whole time! totally awesome! – Well we went out to see the castle of kaos last night and we had a blast! it is nice to see a show change things up so much year after year. no offenc to rocky point but it was the same basic show for most of my life. I went there back in 98 and they had the same sets every year, nightmare is about the same, so I give big props to the castle crew for daring to chainge it up! the BL**d thing was new and a bit strainge, half of my gorup loved it and the other half wasent to impresed. but everything else was ... read more

Not worth the money – I have been to a lot of haunted houses and I'm not typically scared, I read the reviews, checked out their website and it looked like this might be a scary haunted house. Not the case, the guy that was working the line was just weird, not scary. If walking around in pitch black not being able to see and people with mediocre makeup scares you, you might like this. I left unsatisfied – This place did not live up to all its hype. My biggest complaint is that it was short. Way to short. One of the shortest I've been to. The $3.00 "red stuff" treatment or the $3.00 necklaces are just ploys to get people to pay a full $20.00 (ticket price is $17.00). I went out of my way to visit this place because of all the good reviews I read. Haunted Hollow (in Ogden) has got this place beat - it's scarier and about 4-5 times longer. overpriced – Spent an hour in line, spent 8 minutes in the Murder Mystery, spent more time waiting than actually watching anything. Not worth the money.
