Not sure where to start.....I cannot for the life of me believe the negative reviews people are giving Mrs Castillo. She has been my GI doctor for more years than I care to reflect upon and she has always been a wonderful doctor, person, and professional friend. She has gone above and beyond, including "fighting" the insurance company, calling after hours after a procedure (I have had a lot of them), and more. She truly cares and the GI world is lucky to have her as part of the team.
She was rude to my sweet old grandma, Josef Mengele probably had better bedside manner
I just want to let everyone know how fantastic Dr. Emma Castillo MD is. Dr. Castillo truly cares about her patients and the level of care she and her office provide are unmatched. Dr. Castillo is very easy to talk to, like visiting a good friend and she always goes above and beyond with her treatment plans. Thank you for all you do Dr. Castillo!
Terrible. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. She was charming the first time, I guess because she needed me to go back, but the second and third times were worse than painful. The doctor would literally enter the room and not look at you, she would not even read the previous reports, how crazy is that?!, she even asked me if she had already requested a lactose test... No time for questions, no disposition for really making you feel better... This is a doctor that would give you no more than 5 minutes of her da... read more
Absolutely disorganized and impersonal. This doctor should NOT be taking new patients because she can barely see the ones she has. She's constantly double booking appointments. It's insane. It's been a month since my colonoscopy and I still have no idea what the results are because the doctor hasn't looked at them yet. Save yourself the frustration and look for a different doctor. I am! :)
