Best beef ribs and steak hands down! People are fun and welcoming!! Great time with great friends!! Superb!
It was real laid back and good BBQ. The lady tending the counter was super friendly and the BBQ cooks were some good ole boys making good ole delicious BBQ

We stumbled on Castell, while searching for tiny house communities! Decided to drive over from Kerrville and check out what they had for lunch! The best ribs we have ever, ever, had! About 2 -3 inches thick, smoked to perfection and beans & coleslaw great! I deer hunt about 10 miles down the road and love coming here to relax and eat goob BBQ between sits. Sunday ribeye steaks are huge, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Definitely a great hill country atmosphere and experience. Usually take a dip in the LLano river to wash off the dust before heading back to deer camp. Cool and refreshing. Well worth it!! Recommend you get there before 1pm. Tends to get crowded after 2pm on weekends.
