Visited Castell General Store yesterday while staying nearby on a Gals retreat. Loved the wonderful, friendly hospitality of both employees and customers. Went back today for their famous hamburgers!!!! The best I've ever tasted. Plan to come back for their every Sunday special of rib eye steak cooked to order outside on the pits.
Only in Texas can you find such a fun place right along side the Llano River. We are going back for the testicle festival in May!

Always make a point to stop here when we are in the area. Whatever they are cooking, get it. It will be great. Hamburgers are big enough to share! Great place to sit and visit. You may not know anyone when you stop but you'll know them when you leave.
