first time there labor day wknd. Worst exp ever. Very unpleasant bartender. Food came out cold. awful!

The view was great but for the cost of the food, we wouldnt return. My draft beer was not cold and tasted terrible (and I like my drafts). I ordered a special lobster bread bowl for $24. The soup was delicious but the bread was so old/microwaved that i couldn't even pull it apart to eat. the "chips" that came with it were likely sitting in a bowl for a few days. Last night after leaving hampton beach our party of 10 were hungry and looking to eat local seafood. Google maps lead us to castaways but was greeted at the door by an older lady asking if we had reservations which we didn't and told us we weren't going to be seated bc unfortunately it was really busy while looking at us up & down. We nicely said ok thank you anyways and left. The place wasn't at full capacity even with covid 19 they had upper decks that were empty. Outside dinning huh? 👎

Omayra....my name is Ted Mountzuris. I am one of the owners.. I'm sorry for what happened. We open our upper decks Friday thru Sunday. If you are in the area....I am there Thursday thru Sunday. Please feel free to call and ask for me.
Had dinner there several times prior, but tonight, bar service was awful, waitress service not great. When you pay over $100 for dinner & drinks, you expect more. I will definitely not be recommending Castaway to my friends and family that are in vacation here.
