Authentic & Romantic – Great staff! A definitely romantic italian restaurant with a home cooking touch. Nice variety of italian dishes wihout too much flare. Nice wine selection. If you are in Providence, this should be one of the restaurant to stop by after visiting Pastiche Bakery in the afternoon!
one of the BEST!!! – Over the last five years my Wife and I have become fans of Cassarino"s.We eat out once a week and go to Cassarino's about once a month.Please JUST GO THERE>TRUST ME!!
best italian for the money – While there is no shortage of great italian food on federal hill, Cassarinos manages to get you great food at an affordable price. My favorites are the antipasto appetizer, the frutti di mare (tons of seafood on pasta), and the tuna special -- sushi quality tuna cooked very rare. The portions are huge -- two people can easily share an appetizer and a pasta dish for a filling dinner.
Great value – This is a very busy restaurant so you must make reservations. I was shocked at how inexpensive the entres are and you get a large plateful of food. The flavor is good, however, it's not the best.
