BE CAREFUL! – We dined at Cassarino's last night,12 people. Excellent food, service,atmosphere! The waiter put his gratuity on the bill and did not inform us. We went ahead and tipped him a generous $80 on top of the total bill of $400, not realizing he had already included it! He had plenty of time to inform us before we left!! I am a very hard working waitress and would NEVER cheat a party like that..shame on you!
Sensational!!!! – Attended Friday night 11-08. The food was incredible had the lobster raviloi special and my wife had the filet. It was simply awsome. We came from mass. and it was well worth it.
GREAT!! – This place is simply delicious. I've been going here for 5 years and I love it just as much as i did the first time I went. No matter what you order, the food is fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and good prices add to the charm
Authentic & Romantic – Great staff! A definitely romantic italian restaurant with a home cooking touch. Nice variety of italian dishes wihout too much flare. Nice wine selection. If you are in Providence, this should be one of the restaurant to stop by after visiting Pastiche Bakery in the afternoon!
one of the BEST!!! – Over the last five years my Wife and I have become fans of Cassarino"s.We eat out once a week and go to Cassarino's about once a month.Please JUST GO THERE>TRUST ME!!
best italian for the money – While there is no shortage of great italian food on federal hill, Cassarinos manages to get you great food at an affordable price. My favorites are the antipasto appetizer, the frutti di mare (tons of seafood on pasta), and the tuna special -- sushi quality tuna cooked very rare. The portions are huge -- two people can easily share an appetizer and a pasta dish for a filling dinner.
Great value – This is a very busy restaurant so you must make reservations. I was shocked at how inexpensive the entres are and you get a large plateful of food. The flavor is good, however, it's not the best.
