Dr. McKarnin has been my PCP since 2015. She is a gifted physician who is always compassionate, communicates honestly and is always helpful. I love her sense of humor and candor. She's so easy to talk with -- I feel like we could chat for hours! She's my primary care physician, but I also consider her my friend. I have referred several patients to her because she is simply the best!

Dr McKarnin is amazing. She is very personable and friendly. Helps reassure any concerns that I might have.
I concur with previous commenters: “Staff isn't willing to work with you even though we have been patients for years.” I had similar experiences. The receptionist are short and seem like they are doing patients a favor by finding an appointment. I rarely can get in to see my primary care provider. I showed up to discover that I did not have an appointment, the reluctant nurse met me and told me to go to urgent care - unwilling to help. Not what you want in an doctor’s office.
Trying to work with this practice has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. I had poor customer service in scheduling/rescheduling appointments, refilling prescriptions and doctor visits. One doctor repeatedly told me during a visit that, “It’s nasty in there” referring to my vagina when I had a vaginal yeast and bacteria infection. While she may have been correct, no woman should be told that her vagina is nasty. I highly recommend finding a better practice.

My kids love Dr. McKarnin! I can't enough good things about our visits with her. She is so friendly, easy to talk to, knowledgable, capable, personable, thorough, and spends a lot of time with us at every visit. We have been seeing her for many years, and even though she's moved a couple of times, we keep following wherever she goes (we would follow her anywhere). I have five children and out of all the doctors we've had through the years, she's the best! Would highly recc'd her!
