I can’t recommend Cassandra Cake Co. enough! Cassandra made the most beautiful cupcakes for my daughter Serena’s 8-month celebration, with a special Brazil and Canada World Cup theme. We made reservation for afternoon tea. We were the only table but lots of people dropped by to pick up cakes. We had many different afternoon tea in lower mainland and this cafe is surprisingly good quality. Scones are warm and soft. All savoury items are detailed. Can’t tell if the tea is loose leaf or not because there is no tea bag in the pot. Price is very reasonable. Staff constantly checked in how we were doing. Cafe only takes email reservation and reply within 72 hours so recommend to plan in advance.
I went here this morning to pick up my order of cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday party which was starting in less than an hour, and due to some technical difficulty I guess they hadn’t received my order though I had confirmation. The girls at the front remained calmed and worked to make things right. They contacted the manager who had them go ahead and make them right away and deliver it to our party venue. Impressed! I have been searching for a buttercream cake for years that is moist and tasty, and I found it here! I had low expectations but my expectations were exceeded. The cake was vanilla with caramel butter cream. It had the perfect sweetness ratio and was moist. Thank you for the delicious cake!
