RecommendedIf there are hot dogs in heaven, Casper’s will be making them. If I had a last meal on earth, it would be three or four Casper’s and a Delaware Punch to wash it down. They are that good, and I started eating them in the 1950’s . The memories of Old Hayward, Highland Elementary School, and my amazing mother Christine keeping us together -and the best hot dogs on the planet -give me joy in my old age. Thanks, Casper’s! Love Casper’s hotdogs. When I was young we would go to the store on C street in Hayward from Union City just for the hotdogs. I Moved to Georgia in 2009 and need my Casper’s fix whenever I am in the Bay Area yesterday we had a reunion of old friends at the C Street Store, it was wonderful. Charlotte was so helpful with our group. Thank you Charlotte. We will be back again.
Hayward is so lucky to have Caspers Hot Dogs. From the early seventies my family would visit for the steamed buns and dogs. Kraut with mustard is my favorite and is the same through the decades. Great service and conversation can be counted on each visit.
These are the real deal, just like the old days! :-)
