I should have trusted my instincts the first time. Reading another mother’s review here was extremely validating, because her experience mirrors exactly what my daughter went through. My daughter was 9 years old at the time and the way her hair was spoken about caused real emotional harm. Her hair was repeatedly described as “unmanageable,” including in front of another client. Shade is amazing to work with and the only stylist in Roch I trust to do alternative[Alt] hairstyles. She listens and never judges on refs.
I was hesitant to chemically treat my super curly coily hair and I am soo happy I went to Shade, you can tell she is highly experienced with diverse hairtypes, I could not find anyone in town that felt confident with my hair. The results are beyond what I ever expected! So thoughtful and kind I am looking forward to coming back when I need a touch up! ☺️
If I could give a lower Number I would. From calling my child’s hair unmanageable, To Telling me her mother, that other kids don’t cry in her chair so she’s not sure why this one is.
