I went in today to apply for a payday loan. I had called the day before and asked everything they needed, I brought in every single thing they asked for. Then they said they had to call my employment to verify I worked there. They googled the number and called that number. I work at a rehabilitation center in the admissions department so I requested that they called the admissions department to verify my employment and they refused. The employees get to pick and choose what they except for proof. I turned in a hand written proof of income for my husband no questions ask it was taken with no issues. But it wasn't good enough for me they wanted a 1099 from me but was going to be closed before I could get it back to them so they actually now have lost 2 customers cause a different company is paying my husband's loan off now
