I know Dr. Casey Lester from our psychiatric training together. He is a solid and caring doctor. I have recommended him to family members. He is an excellent physician!

Please think twice before seeing this doctor, especially if you are a parent of a teenage daughter. While he is knowledgable about medication management, Dr. Lester's treatment of my daughter led her to greater isolation from friends and family. As soon as my daughter stopped seeing him, she slowly started getting better with a different psychiatrist and therapist. I only wished I had stopped his services sooner, so that she could have gotten the help she needed.
My daughter was in Dr. Lester's care for several months. We used him for both medication management and therapy. On the positive side, he seemed to be knowledgeable about psych meds and possible side effects. But we withdrew my daughter from his care when Dr. Lester made some very inappropriate remarks to my daughter and her mom. I don't feel that Dr. Lester took our concerns seriously. And it sounds like he wasn't cooperative when her next therapist him called to discuss my daughter's case.
I recommend Dr. Casey Lester to the students and families I work with because of the high level of professional and compassionate care he provides to his patients. He is one of the most attentive and responsive doctors I have met. He takes the time to listen and understand the complexities his patients’ experiences.
