Just for background, I am a female who is used to being lied to and struggle finding mechanics that aren't condescending if not outright falsifying information about what work is needed on my vehicle. Im also a female who does a decent amount of work to my own car to avoid/prevent such nonsense. Because of this I always do a few preventive maintenance on my car before taking it to a new place.
