As a Motorsport enthusiast, I’ve had opportunity to experience many surgeries, by several surgeons over the years. Dr Huntsman has performed 3 of those, as well as a couple for my wife. As we schedule my next surgery with him, I can assure you that he is an AMAZING Ortho Surgeon! If you need bone or connective work done, I’d recommend him 100%!
This review is related to the billing practices, not the Doctor. I had minor knee surgery and although I had already hit my deductible and max out of pocket, they required me to pay $1000 before surgery, which I did. After the surgery was performed, they immediately filed insurance to get the money for surgery, but intentionally held off billing for my after surgery checkup for months, so that they could say my account wasn't finished processed and not return my money. This review is in no reflection of the doctors here. They are great. However the communication in billing is a nightmare. I was promised a price to purchase two braces. I was not alerted of the specifications that would need to be followed and i am now being charged double because their team did not give me the details on processes to follow to get them at that price. No one noted in my chart the price promised and now im responsible for the full amount due to THEIR error. Moving forward to never receiving a bill in the mail... read more
