Casella Waste Systems is, without exaggeration, the absolute worst service provider I have ever dealt with. For the past three weeks—including this week ending September 24, 2025—they have willfully failed to pick up trash on Burtonsville, MD despite being paid in advance for the entire month. One of the most irresponsible waste management companies in the area. I rent an apartment at Mallory Square, and the truck comes pick up the trash almost every weekday morning at 7am. However, the driver smashes the metal garbage bins, pushes them around using the forklift, creating unnecessarily loud noises that last for an hour and giving me a headache and definitely no sleep. Absolutely pathetic and shambolic. This is hands down the worst-run company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. You call them with an issue — nothing gets resolved.
