The worst service and most ridiculous customer service. My neighbor forgot to pay and the company stopped picking up their trash immediately, without any notice, while they were on vacation in summer. I decided not to use them and can't close the account on-line: no such option as account management etc. Called them 4 times, and every time it let me wait, saying the waiting time is likely to be greater than 10 minutes (seriously?!!), but after 10 minutes still no one picked up. Casella Waste Systems is, without exaggeration, the absolute worst service provider I have ever dealt with. For the past three weeks—including this week ending September 24, 2025—they have willfully failed to pick up trash on Burtonsville, MD despite being paid in advance for the entire month. One of the most irresponsible waste management companies in the area. I rent an apartment at Mallory Square, and the truck comes pick up the trash almost every weekday morning at 7am. However, the driver smashes the metal garbage bins, pushes them around using the forklift, creating unnecessarily loud noises that last for an hour and giving me a headache and definitely no sleep.
