I would not recommend living here. Property manager “Joey”, can almost never be reached, is rude, has no people skills, and doesn’t want to do his job. He often complains to everyone about the other tenants, but, boasts about living for free in his apartment. Even the maintenance crew are miserable. I had the janitor pick up the phone, and start yelling at me because he was frustrated I couldn’t hear him. Hallway tends to smell of rotting garbage, packages are often stolen. Case Mead Lofts is a great place to live. The building is very accessible, and the management is always making thoughtful improvements- to both customer service, and the facilities overall. The property managers are almost always on site and respond to issues right away, which makes a huge difference. It’s also a great price, especially when you compare it to other buildings in the area. Highly recommend.
I have been a tenant of Paolino Properties for the last 7 1/2 years. They are without a doubt the best property managers I have ever had in the 28 years I have rented in Providence. I mean this family-owned company has been here in and part of the city for over 100 years, so that should tell you something. They not only care about their properties but also value their tenants and are always quick to respond if there are any maintenance-type issues.
