Established in 1954 by the Cascone family, who still own and operate what are now three locations, this restaurant offers a full dinner menu and a cocktail lounge. Etched glass windows at this location create a cozy atmosphere and give diners privacy. The service is excellent. The restaurant offers a full array of appetizing pasta dishes. Although a popular place for intimate gatherings and business luncheons, it is also a place where families feel at home.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We had enough leftovers, that we are enjoying it a second night in a row tonight!
Amazing food! The bar atmosphere was nice with wonderful service and live music. We are looking forward to the next time we can go!
I asked for a glass of wine and the glass had a funny smell to it, so instead I asked for a beer, but I never got it ! I was not a fan of the mushrooms, but the calamari was very good! My grilled chicken on my Alfredo was a bit “charred”. Our server took a long time to check on us. Salad was decent. Desserts are delicious but huge portions. We had a large party, so we had two servers. We waited too long for the birthday girls cake & way too long for our checks. Our first time there :(
Good food. Slower service but they apologized for being understaffed at the time.
The food was great as usual. The restaurant needs updating and needs a deep clean. The waitstaff do a great job but sensed frustration and lack of respect for each other. You are a KC Landmark..move yourselves into the NOW...
Embarrassed to say that this was my first time at Cascone's. I had always heard that it wasn't as good as it was back in the 60s, early 70s. I don't know what they did then, but this was 5 stars for ambiance, professional friendliness, timely service, large portions of really Italian style dishes, cost wallet friendly, and a great friendly server who spent time with your table and never rushed it. I might go back!
Update: Jimmy invited us back for a return visit. Our food was good, the service was excellent. The resturant was clean. Filthy. They put paper over their black tablecloths. Under the paper was super filthy table cloth. Floor was dirty and seats had crumbs. I wish it was darker in there! They charge for each soda. I had the angel hair marinara special. It was tomatoe soup w pasta noodles. It was suppose to be a light dish of angel hair pasta w crushed tomaotes. Disappointed this time!
