My experience with Cascades at the Hammocks has been extremely disappointing, and the way management has handled my recent maintenance issue has made it significantly worse. A toilet tank in my apartment suddenly failed at the bottom corner and began leaking. The toilet was not struck, abused, or misused. More importantly, I have photographs of the inside of the old tank showing extensive long-term deterioration, heavy mineral buildup, staining, and corrosion of the internal components. UPDATE 7/23/2026: CHANGE FROM 2 TO 5 STARS - For the record, the front office staff seem like genuinely nice people. While the issue detailed below was exhausting, I applaud the staff for acknowledging this, taking responsibility and action. They've made diligent efforts to right the wrongs during the move-in and I'm starting to enjoy the fact that we're in a beautiful new space again. New tenant here- happy to be in a new community but GOOD LORD did the leasing office botch the move-in process. The day after we got the keys, it was determined/decided by the front office that the floors needed to be replaced - the ENTIRE floor of the apartment in every room and claimed it would be done by 2pm the next day (wasn't finished until after 6pm) The staff apparently didn't do a comprehensive walk through before leasing to us and mind you, we paid extra per month to get a "premium" unit.
