I had the most comprehensive experience I’ve had. It started with the awesome triage nurse who instinctively figured out the issue & immediately drew blood knowing the results would be known by the time I’d been admitted & put into a room!! The ER Dr then, thinking I had a deadly blood infection, began a mega antibiotic until everyone could determine exact issue. I have never had a good experience with Cascade Valley Hospital, unfortunately. I would love to say that I have, but it’s always been a horrible experience each and every time. I would rather go all the way to Everett to go to Providence than to go to Cascade. I feel bad saying this, but ever since I’ve moved to Arlington when I was 3 years old it’s never gotten better. I have had to be hospitalized five times in just the last several months. While I have had the craziest situations with roommates, that's not the hospital's fault, and the people taking care of me have worked hard to keep me comfortable (earplugs!). The RNs and CNAs have been wonderful and caring and on top of things and while you can be stuck in the ER for what seems like forever, my only complaint, everything else has been great.
Just rich people beating down on poor people, as usual.
