I would not recommend Dr Chen for pain management, he treats you like it's all in your head because a test was normal. I went to a physiatrist who knew what he was doing and explained to me that not all testing is reliable and you need to listen to your patients symptoms and don't rely on just test results
The staff at Cascade are so friendly and caring. The nurse, Dana, was always quick to return my calls and was very nurturing. Dr. Moravek was caring and was not forceful about the options presented to me. However, I felt like, while he tried to listen, he didn't hear me. Doctor Moravek asked me the same questions several times, and additional appointments did not yield different treatment options. First, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me with my diagnosis and treatment of the Carpel Tunnel in my wrists. I wouldn't be on my way to better overall health without the care you provided. I went from pain everyday while working in a physically demanding job, to where I am now. Feeling like I can begin enjoying my hobbies of woodworking and fishing again. Came in for an appointment and had the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office. I came in with knee/calf/foot pain. I was immediately put under speculation when the doctor saw what company I worked for. I explained to the doctor that I was not there for pain medication and that I was looking for a solution to my problem. He told me that he would appease me by sending in a medrol dose pack. The WORST ran office in history. Who scheduled a patient wanting to be seen for his hip and back with the foot and ankle specialist..only an idiot. AND to top that off, the Doc doesnt even order X-rays to visually see what is going on. Just states "there is nothing he can do." CAUSE HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE....DO NOT BE SEEN HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY WASTING YOUR TIME
Dr. Donna E. Smith was the worst doctor I have ever had an appointment with. She was abrasive from the moment she got in the room, physically hurt my injury and would not let go when I told her she was hurting me, and was defensive and rude the entire visit. She interrupted me, and refused to answer my questions. I have been a patient of Dr Chens for 5 or 6 years he is the kindest Dr I think I have ever seen I really like it when a doctor looks and speaks to you and makes any effort to understand you situation he does not leave the room until all has been answered and I find that rare these days I would highly recomend him !!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Chen for 4 years and he is AMAZING!! He truly cares about his patients and the pain they are experiencing. He does everything he can to find the best solution for the particular individual. My Mom is also a patient of his. We both agree that he is the BEST! It's obvious that he loves his job and cares for his patients. I HIGHLY recommend him!
the worst place ever- I recently called to schedule an appointment was on hold for over 10 minutes - when I finally scheduled an appointment was called back the day before to say it had to be cancelled because it was scheduled incorrectly. when I finally got in to see the doctor the wait was forever- the front desk didn't have any info for me and when I complained to the clinic supervisor Cassandra she pretty much didn't care you can tell by how it took 5 calls to her to finally get a call back.
