I (like a lot of people?) have had some bad experiences with painful dental work in the past ... it kept me from going to the dentist as often as I should! A friend recommended Oakmont to me and I am so glad she did! The hygienists and doctors are great ... they make me comfortable and cared about. Highly recommend you give them a try.
Important to know, I am TERRIFIED of the dentist - so much so that I haven't been in over 2 decades! That's a long time and a heck of a lot of buildup. Yet this was the gentlest cleaning I have ever experienced. Love these people. If you are terrified of dentistry, this is the place for you (and me).

I've been going to oakmont for over a year now and I honestly can say that this is the most welcoming, assertive, dentist office I have ever been too. 6 months after my first visit, when I returned for a cleaning, the dental assistant remembered everything I had talked about and made me feel like she actually cares about the clients. After a particularly horrendous experience with Advantage Dental, I was directed to Oakmont Family Dental by Pacific Source. I was greeted, guided through the paperwork, and even given a tour to ensure I knew where everything was. My hygienist, Jenny, listened carefully to my health history, honed in on the dental challenges, and provided a cleaning that was superb! After many years of teeth problems and numerous dentists that gave me deep anxiety I came across Oakmont. Not only is the staff beyond friendly but Dr. Jen has eased a lot of anxiety I have had. Taking emergency calls on the weekend has been a saving grace. The warm and caring environment is just in part of a wonderful experience.
