We had a positive experience with Cascade. The team was responsive and helped with additional support plans for moving forward and addressing future need. They were helpful navigating insurance challenges too. I also appreciate their proactive approach to mental health support snd wellness by invensting in their community and embracing underserved and marginalized communities through volunteer work and community outreach. Highly recommend!
The only prescriber on staff for the brief time I was a patient here was a male doctor, although I was assured when I called that I would be scheduled with a female provider. When I finally saw him, he had not reviewed my records or even the appointment notes. During a later appointment, after I was confused by his statements and protocols, he shared that he has previously been terminated for irresponsible prescription of scheduled drugs—this was after he failed to follow protocol on prescribing scheduled drugs in my case. We have had a wonderful experience with Cascade. We have met with a couple of therapists and they have all taken the time to truly listen and support us with our needs, and come up with useful support plans. It's been easy to call and reschedule if needed, someone is always there to answer when I call and help with whatever I need. Highly recommend!
I couldn’t imagine a more balanced and suitable approach to mental health, if one exists I am not aware of it. These folks do their best and it shows.
I had a disappointing experience here and do not recommend working with Megan G, the CEO. My therapist on the other hand was a wonderful woman that I respect and appreciate. Unfortunately, Megan is all about money and not in this for the good of helping others. She supposedly takes EAP, but will deny you a second topic or more (Cigna and most organizations that you give access to the EAP allow multiple codes used for stress, postpartum, insomnia, etc.) because she demands you go through your insurance for the higher pay.
