About this business

This club is a prime spot to hear new and cutting edge music in San Diego. Bands such as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Alanis Morissette have been among the previous guests. Local bands play here as well, primarily featuring a punk-rock flavor. In addition to music, the club offers pool tables, an enclosed smoking patio, vintage pinball and video games. A stage and dance floor provides plenty of room to dance. Meanwhile, the full bar serves a long list of beverages.

Great Music Casbah is a great little place to listen to live music and enjoy good food and drinks. Tickets aren't too expensive, they average around $12 per ticket. But it's worth going for the entertainment and atmosphere.

Iconic San Diego music venue Yes - this is THE Casbah that the Clash sang about when we were little (Rock the . . . ) and it's an awesome, intimate space for great music. And yup, Nirvana used to play here too. OK- there are planes flying overhead and the area (though getting better) can be a little rough around the edges- But it's an authentic, entertaining place to go (and the drinks are cheap too)

This is a great place to watch live music. Its small and intimate. They get decent bands in the line up and this is the place to see them before they get huge. Grab a beer and hang with friends. There is back patio where you can smoke (gasp). Parkingis best on the street if you can find it. www.casbahmusic.com

Awesome venue for music and Pacman From the outside the Casbah is a very unassuming red builidng that looks like it's built into the sidewalk. And inside it's still pretty unassuming. But it's a great, small, place to see live shows and pretty much the only place left since The Scene shut down. But check the place out even if you don't love the band that's playing. There's a room adjacent to the main bar and stage room, that holds a small bar, pool tables, chairs, a booth, and video games. But don't hog the Pacman table plea... read more

National and Local Music 7-days a week. – Casbah brings good live music to San Diego 7 nights a week. They also produce shows outside of their venue. Ticket prices are awesome, from $0-15 average. Sound could be updated. At times the highs are Really high. Its a small venue so that impacts the sound.
